Crafting a successful relationship between identity, art, and type is incredibly rewarding. Over the years my logotype work for products and companies has helped win funding, new clients, buyers, and awards.
The OneRx logotype leverages a humanist typeface with a calligraphic feel to reinforce the brand philosophy and reference the gestural nature of the icon shape. It is designed to project ease and stability while also reflecting the novel technical process used by the product itself.
The mark for this top rated app was deployed across all channels, including business materials, marketing collateral, tv spots, print ads, promotional website, and video testimonials.
I redesigned the Truveris logo in order to elevate the brand so that it could function as a parent mark to a growing spectrum of software products. An extensive user guide was produced to help ensure quality and maintain consistency across all channels and products during its five year run.
The primary goal of the Truveris brand refresh project was to bring all of its products into harmony with the parent mark. This was accomplished primarily through the use of a novel humanist typeface which supported the entire suite of products.
Truveris developed a number of applications with logos designed in isolation from one another. After a period of growth for the company it became necessary to redesign the product logos under a unified brand in order to unify them.
I also designed the original RxChoice logo, which was deliberately developed in isolation from the existing product lines, and as a result appeared distinct from them. Nevertheless, I am still fond of it.
While rapid-prototyping user interfaces it was my habit to fully design logos in the mockups in order to test and visualize various customization options for B2B SaaS products.
Over the years I've had the pleasure of designing logos for a number of music & audio technology projects.
The first logos I designed after moving to NYC were in the engineering and architecture space.
Another arena where I exercise my conceptual, illustration, and design muscles is creating icons. The OneRx app required an extensive custom icon design system, including prescription medication processing states like prior authorization and step therapy.
